The Origins of Our Family Business
SNC Industry Company Limited is a family-run business based in Thailand. Established in 1957 by two brothers, the company originally manufactured wicks and yarns for the fishing industry. Over the years, it has continued to develop and expand its product range. Today, the company produces yarns for a wide range of industrial applications, with a primary focus on sewing threads for medium- and heavy-duty industrial use outside the apparel sector. These applications include footwear, leather goods, mattresses, upholstery, canvas goods, commodity packaging and storage, such as rice, flour, and sugar bags, as well as construction materials and related products.
Government Support and Global Market Expansion
Since 1982, the company has had the support of the Board of Investment of Thailand with a view to manufacture yarn and thread for textile and industrial uses. At present, the firm has a sale proportion of domestic and export sales of forty and sixty per cent respectively. Its international markets are scattered around the world.
